Window Frame Decor - DIY Rustic Window

Window Frame Decor Printable

I created this window printable to fit a standard size piece of foam board. The printable will print out on 8 sheets of paper.

Step One: Foam Board

Depending on how much you want to spend, you can use two pieces of standard foam board or one pieces of 1/2” thick foam board.

I choose to use two standard boards. To hold them together while i trace out my window, i used spray glue.

Step Two: Printable

Click here to print the pdf of the window. Lay them out and tape the pieces together.

Tape the template to your board so that it stays in place while you trace.

Step Three: Trace your Template

Use an embossing tool to trace around the entire window. Use a ruler to help you make straight lines .

Step Four: Cut

After removing the template, keep the two boards together. Carefully cut along the lines. Be sure to cut down to the second board.

Seporate the boards when your ready to take out the window pieces.

Step Five: Prep & Paint

Glue your boards back together with hot glue. Use a nail file to smooth out any rough edges.

Paint the entire window white and allow it to dry. Use a stencil brush and some brow paint to add wood texture. Focus the paint around the edges and lightly brush the face of the window.
