Weathered Spheres: Restoration Hardware Dupe

I have always loved Restoration hardware’s weathered spheres! I have created a simple DIY dupe that is less than half of the original cost!

Items Needed for Weathered Spheres:

Step One: Prep the Spheres

Apply a light layer of paint to your spheres to cover their original color. I used a light grey since you may see this layer as you add more later on.

Step Two: Texture

To create texture, apply mod podge to your sphere then roll your ball on a plate with Epsom salt. This is a messy process, you may need to allow it to dry before adding more salt to the entire ball.

Step Three: Paint your Weathered Spheres

Once your spheres have dried, apply paint with a sponge brush. My technique was to apply darker shades of greys and browns. Then layer lighter colors of creams and white on top.
