CB2 has the most beautiful, modern, and unique decor pieces but, sometimes they aren’t in my budget. This DIY chain link dupe is great because you can have that modern decor piece without breaking the bank!

Items needed for chin link decor :
All of the items in this project can be found at Dollar Tree but here are similar links.
Step One: Tape
This step is optional. The chain I linked here may not need tape since it is made out of hard plastic. The dollar tree dog toy link is made out of rope so you will need this step.
Since the spackle won’t stick to the rope, apply tape around all of the rings.
Step Two: Spackle the chain link
Apply spackle all over the rings. Before it dries make sure to fill in any gaps.
Step Three: Prep
After applying the spackle, rub the links with a wet brush to smoothen out the spackle. Then once it dries sand down any imperfections.
repeat step 2 & 3 until you are happy with the final product
